Fully Vaccinated Amber Arrivals Day 2 Test

Those who have been fully vaccinated with an NHS administered vaccine in the UK and are returning from amber countries are required to complete a pre-departure test before arrival into England, alongside a PCR test on or before day 2 after arrival. A full vaccination means 14 days have passed since your second and final dose of the vaccine.

Before an individual travels to the UK, they must:

Test before travel

Take a coronavirus (COVID-19) test and get a negative result during the 3 days before you travel

Book day 2 and day 8 tests

Book and Pay for a travel test package, which will include COVID-19 tests to be taken on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 of the quarantine period

Passenger Locator Form

Complete a passenger locator form with details of where they will home quarantine on arrival and the travel test package booking reference number

Sample collection video call

Book a video call with one of our remote nurses who will guide you through collecting your sample in the correct way.

Timely notifications

You will receive a notification with your test result as soon as your sample has been analysed in the lab.

Test result certificates

We can send your results certificate to the email address of your choice.

Results in 12-18 hours

Results are normally issued 12 to 18 hours after receipt at the lab for analysis. Some results are processed within 12 hours, however these times are not guaranteed.
